[A very mussed, crumpled looking doctor blinks into the camera. Oddly, from the office visible behind him, it looks like he's at work.]

Um, my paperweight just hatched.

[Yes, 14 hours in surgery yesterday and the rest of the night crashed out asleep in his office have left him a little out of touch. But he's getting caught up with events rapidly as a small pink claw hooks over his arm and a little pink dragon scrabbles her way up onto his shoulder.

And makes a noise suspiciously like a sneeze. One which showers a glittering spray of rainbow coloured sparkles all over Chase.

He pulls a face.]

And I think it's got the flu.

[ooc: Yes, it IS the silliest dragon ever, but when she's fully grown she'll be causing a miniature geomagnetic storm, disrupting electricity flow to the hospital. And creating a very pretty aurora over it. Open to voice/text/action at any stage from bitty dragon to massive magnetic terror.]

I'm going to take that as a compliment. Give me a minute to figure out how. [While he ducks another sparklesneeze.] Did everyone get one of these--are they even dragons? Could be a really overgrown moth.

[See, the dragon wants some love. That's his spirit animal.] They're dragons alright.

We've got one. Not mine, Clary's - but he's a dragon.

Did he come with some kind of certificate? [sigh well, he'll just give in and tip his head back while the dragon invades his space, and Mae can talk to his neck and the curious pink lizard face looking back at her.]

They didn't - if you want to call them overgrown moths, go ahead. But I think they're dragons.

[Well. He has a nice neck? He also has a dragon the same colour as her hair, funny that. And she'll raise her hand to wave it at that dragon.]

[Chuckles a little, and leans in closer to the webcam, shaking her head so her hair tumbles everywhere for the dragon to see.]

[And then he has to catch his dragon before it climbs down his sweater. But he looks at a loss for what to do with her when she's safely on his lap. Do you stroke dragons?]
