[The video feed is short, but direct: it shows an egg, much like any of the others that have been popping up around the city, resting on a table indoors. The shell is a dark, speckled black ringed with dull brownish spots.]

Hello everyone
What exactly are these things ?
A lot of people have been saying they are eggs but this doesnt look like any egg ive ever seen
Does anyone know whats inside them ?

Something dangerous, knowing the City.

[He doesn't look thrilled about this whole egg thing. He's almost certain something deadly is in there.]

You could always crack it open and find out.

I'm going to stick with what I know and call it an egg.

An ostrich lays big ones. They aren't so decorative. Someone has time on their hands.

Be careful with it. Who knows what could hatch out of that thing?

Good point. How do you know it won't explode if you don't crack it open, though? They could be tiny egg-shaped bombs or something.

Could be some kind of a bird pandemic.

[Birdemic.]

Or they're really in season. Except.... I don't think that's the case. Must be some sort of a curse where they go on taking big bird eggs and shit.
recognize_an_opportunity: (Where are you going with this?)

What else would it be?

I guess that's the smart option. As long as whatever hatches from them isn't dangerous.

I hope it's a dinosaur.
recognize_an_opportunity: (Yeah tell me another one)

Maybe from an ostrich.

I've never seen a single one, but it's better than something dangerous, right?
recognize_an_opportunity: (that shit's funny)

Maybe they're really sneaky ostriches. And yeah, sure, they're dangerous if you try to fight one, I guess. They probably bite.

Dinosaurs are pretty awesome. Especially the ones with the long necks. Besides, I can't think of anything else that hatches from eggs that would be that exciting.
