[It was supposed to be a quick venture to the store to restock on food (as good of an idea as she thought it was to do alone even with the speed of her A-T), but instead it was a trap that Gazelle had walked into. The result for her was getting bitten on the arm by one of her ghouls before getting away.]

[As lucky as still being alive was, the fever that followed came quickly with delirium in slow waves of confusion and drowsiness, leaving her no choice but to eventually stop and retire against the trunk of a tree. Tiredly, she fumbles one-handily to get her device turned on.]

Mmm, maybe it wasn't such a good idea... and they still had their A-T. [It may sound like she's mumbling or talking to herself just a little, but it's the best she can do to "explain" things with her fever and her inability to sit still at the moment. She winces given her sore arm.] --Ouch!

[And after pausing to lean back against the tree and let the pain subside for a moment, she continues,] Kaito? What should I do about the bite? It really hurts, and it's really hot...

(ooc: Action is also welcome to everyone and anyone who wants to help or not, but just expect Gazelle responses to get more delirious as things go. Ghouls optional. ~~Hopefully I can play this out with justice and apologies in advance for slow tags.~~)

There's no cure for it. The only way to stop its course is to put yourself down before turning.

[ Ventus -- hates this event, whatever it is, this curse. He's tired from running away from the ghouls (running, because that's the only thing he can do), and he's sluggish as he walks. But seeing a girl leaning on a tree makes him walk faster, and he yells - ]

Hey--! Are you okay? Miss?

[As surprising as it is to hear him say that, she has already had a similar thought cross her mind. So outwardly her expression remains drained as she shakes her head with the video still on at her end.]

... I'm not gonna kill myself. I promised to live.

[Gazelle was aware of his presence but she couldn't pay any mind to it in her sick daze until his yelling snapped her to attention.]

Who... are you?

Ventus. [ He stops in front of her, kneeling down. ] What happened?

May want to keep the other option in mind. From what I've observed, this virus is slow acting. Overtime, you'll become all too aware of the changes.

Gazelle? Is someone looking after you now?

Venus? [She looks at his big blue eyes quizzically.] What is a planet doing here...

[PAUSE] It was them again and they gave... this. [She tilts her head toward the bite on her arm instead of moving it to show him.]

[The reply that comes is slow...] Kaito isn't here.

[But it's a straight answer. His tone is soft.]

Is anybody else with you?

'anges? I think I got them now.

Somebody... Venus is here.

Okay, that's good. Can Venus bring you in to the hospital?

I don't know.

If you've been bitten, I'd like to have a look at it.

If you look at it, will you heal it. Make the hurt go away.

I'd do my best.

I'll ask then. Though he's really bright to look at.

Uh... no, I'm not a planet. [ He didn't really know any planet called Venus.. ] Just call me Ven. Anyway--

[ His brows furrow at the sight of the bite mark, and his lips purse as he thinks. ] The... creatures? [ for lack of better words-- ] That looks really bad. You gotta get that looked at, miss.

But your eyes look really blue...

Mm, it was them. The hos'pit?

[ it's only as blue as your hair. . . probably. ]

Hospital? Yeah, I'll take you. Here-- [ he reaches out, but doesn't touch her yet, waiting for the okay to pick her up. ]

Mm. That's what I said.

[It takes her a moment but she aimlessly reaches out right back. That is much of an okay as he's getting.]

[ and he takes her, but not before touching his shoulder to activate his armor and summon his Keyblade Glider. It's much faster to fly to the hospital, after all.

Taking her into his arms gingerly, he steps on the hoverboard, intending to move as soon as he's balanced. ]

You okay there?
