20th Spell ~ [Video | Action]
[ When Merlin starts the recording, the smile on his face is a wry one. ]
So it's that curse finally, is it? I've heard about it.
[ A pause, and he shrugs. ]
Could be worse.
[ Not that he's happy about it, but it's not worth staying home for. Which means that you can encounter him in the Magic Shop, as well on the streets on the way to (and before this post, then) and from work.
But he's definitely not going out again once he's back home. ]

action:
She's now in the kitchen with Gwaine, baking cookies for various gift baskets. Gwaine perks up when Merlin arrives home and Charlie sets the mixing bowl down, wiping her hands off and hurrying out to greet him.
Except, instead of her usual greeting, Charlie takes a step under some mistletoe and...
Well, two seconds later Merlin should possibly find himself pinned against a wall being quite heatedly kissed by his wife.
Unless he resists but why would he do something like that?]
action:
He's not quite ready for the warmth and the sudden need to arch off the wall and press against Charlie, although the feeling is very familiar and he knows exactly what it is and. Well. That was quick. ]
Re: action:
Our room.
[That's all. Those are the only words said before she resumes her kissing. And it's not a demand, for the most part. Merely a suggestion.]
action:
But, hey, there's no rush. They'll get there. ]
Re: action:
Charlie started walking backwards, tugging him with her.
Getting to their room was in fact a goal, but the build up to that was a lot of fun.]
*giving you some more action*
Hearing Merlin's voice at the end of his post he enters the back room and gives him a broad grin. "Hey man, brought you a coffee."
[ action ] - after work somtime
He truly had.
He knew what he was getting into the second he turned on his phone that morning (it took him a while but he did learn the better side of caution).
but honestly. Truly. Must he?
Staring balefully at the little space above Merlin's right shoulder, he huffed. ] I hope you know this is completely against my will. [ because while he may not be able to keep his will, he can still resist long enough to make a point. A very important and necessary point. He was not usually in the habit of kissing his servants! ]
no subject
Well.
Kissing, honestly. ]
action:
Walking can be tricky enough without the distraction of a kiss, so Merlon stumbles slightly and is mostly kept as upright as he is thanks to Charlie being so close. He uses her as a bit of support, one hand latching onto her shoulder for a moment as he gathers his bearings, but very soon that hand is on the back of her neck and curling into her hair. ]
Ohohoho
Still, he very much cuts it short and pulls away rather abruptly, snatching the mistletoe from above their heads to burn it in his palm with a sigh. "And good morning to you."
Re: action:
But then the door is opened a moment later and she looks up at him with a grin.]
Hi, sweetheart. Welcome home.
[And he's pulled into the room, Charlie shutting the door behind him.]
[ action ] H e h
Of course, that doesn't mean Merlin is happy about it. Not really angry about it, either, but. Yes. It could be worse - how many times is he going to tell himself that today, he wonders - and they're just going to act like it never happened and things will be great. Or, well, not great. But fine.
Probably. ]
I know. Same here.
[ So, with that settled, he leans in and kisses Arthur. Good lord, the things the City does to you. ]
no subject
Well.
He shouldn't keep getting as surprised as he does. But he's scratching at his cheek as he pulls away. ]
Right. Yeah. Hello.
action:
[ There's the slightest laugh as the door closes, and that's at a rather convenient place and he's just going to corner Charlie against it as a bit of revenge for that greeting. If it can be called that. Just a bit of payback.
He presses his forehead to hers, smiles as he gives her another kiss - very brief and very soft, more like a brush - before he drags his lips down and along her jaw. ]
Re: action:
Yes, she'll have more of that please. She can't really voice this desire, however, except to let out a pleased sigh. She tries to return the attention, kissing whatever part of his shoulders, neck and face she could reach.]
no subject
Oh, I'm terribly sorry Merlin. It's just one of those curses today, isn't it? I didn't mean to say hallo in that manner.
no subject
"Well... this is awkward."
[ action ]
stimulating, after all.
He can hardly be blamed for leaning in a little bit closer to enjoy it, can he? It's just... he's obviously not in his right mind! ]
[ action ]
Odd.
He even finds himself grabbing into Arthur's collar to keep him there. ]
no subject
Yeah. Yeah, of course. I know. It's. It's fine.
[ AHEM. ]
no subject
"A bit, yeah. But, hey, it's... just the City."
He shrugs with a slight grimace, and tries a smile. Just trying not to care is the best way to go about this, he thinks.

Merlin's all for throwing bones. He's nice like that.
[ action ]
Wait a moment. He's kissing... and Merlin is...
In a startled moment, Arthur remembers exactly where they are and what they're doing and he's pulling back.
Maybe.
It entirely depends on Merlin. ]
[ action ]
That licking snaps him out of it, because, whoa, that's a bit far, isn't it? So he drops his hands a moment later, and pulls back too. ]
Err...
[ Shit. ]
[ action ]
Believe me. That wasn't me. That was just the curse.
[ and the dozen or so kisses he's had throughout the day that were much, much, much more thorough.
Er... Shit indeed. ]
[ action ]
They're good.
Totally. ]
I know. I know it was. Wasn't me either.
[ action ]
Good.
[ he stares at Merlin, careful not to make any sudden moves. ] So... you're not gonna mention this to anyone... Are you?
[ like Charlie. Or Rain. Because he'd much rather this never happened. ]
[ action ]
[ So, his leaps are sealed. ]
[ action ]
[ perhaps a little too quick to answer, but the honest truth. He's got no reason to tell anyone. Ever. ]
[ action ]
No idea. I just thought I'd double check.
[ action ]
O... kay.
Well, I should, um... go now I think. Didn't you have somewhere you needed to be as well?
[ because, you know. Why else would they meet like this in the hall? Other then the fact they...
live
together. That is. ]
[ action ]
[ AHEM. Time to go, yes. Away. Far away. And not return for a while. Brilliant plan. ]
[ action ]
[ action ]
Merlin would call about it if he didn't know the reason and refuses to bring it up again. Lalala. ]
