Ten Moons ℂ Action
[When Lena hears it's one of those "Vistor's Weekends" again, she races for the fountain. That's where Ethan was last time, and she's sure he'll come again. Hopelessly optimistic? Maybe. She looks all around, squeezing between people and making multiple passes around the fountain.
During this time, she'll help anyone who needs information about where they are, but she'll also seem distracted, eyes darting around, looking for her boyfriend.]

action;
A figure comes plummeting from the sky and hits into the fountain with a cry of surprise and a splash. Ethan sits up, wiping water from his eyes, blinking around in surprise. This ... is unexpected.]
L?
[It's not even conscious anymore, reaching out to her like this. It's an instinct.]
action foreeeeever;
Ethan! I knew you'd come back! I knew it!
[Time for tackle hugs and peppering his face with kisses!]
no subject
[He kisses her back, though just touching her takes his breath away, makes his heart skip a beat. He ignores it, though, putting his arms around her waist, picking her up, and swinging her around. He remembers where he is now, and he remembers that he's not here with her.]
How long's it been?
no subject
Forever! [She gives him a punch on the shoulder for staying gone so long.] No, not forever. It's been four months now! Four whole months, Ethan! [And yeah, she can't blame him for that, but it makes her want to open up the sky and bring on a storm. Why can't the deities just leave him here with her or send her home?]
no subject
[He stares at her, dismay written clearly on his face, thumb stroking absently over her cheekbones.]
I'm so sorry, L. It's only been a couple days at home.
no subject
Don't be. You couldn't help it. Now I feel kind of sorry I punched you.
[Here; have a kiss to make up for it.]
At least you didn't have to miss me, right? You forgot about this place when you went home?
no subject
[He curls a hand into her hair, finger-combing it gently.]
Kind of freaky.
no subject
[She smooths her hands along his shirt and, just like last this, finally takes notice that he's soaking wet.]
We should get out of the fountain.
no subject
[He kisses her again, then glances back to ease out of the fountain before holding out a hand to get her out.]
no subject
[She rolls her eyes, but takes his hand all the same.]
I think I'll have an easier time drying out your clothes this time.

[She gives him a playful nudge.]
They just got a little steamy, that's all.
no subject
[EYEBROW WAGGLE.]
no subject
Idiot.
[And yet she's smiling, completely charmed by Mr. Wate.]
I'm so glad you're here. I've missed you so much. It's like I've been missing a part of myself. Only half a Lena.
no subject
[He's not even sure what that would entail, but he's pretty sure it's not removing him.]
Maybe three-quarters of one.
no subject
[Oh, look, back at her apartment. It's changed since last time, now all creams and greens and browns, but with her poetry still spread across the walls. Mostly it says stuff about being lonely or disconnected.]
Here we are. Now let's get you dry before you catch a cold.
no subject
[He glances around, taking in the poetry, frowning at the sight of it.]
Where's the other man in your life?
no subject
[She looks on the couch, then around the side of it.]
Here, kitty kitty! [To Ethan:] He likes to hide now. Desi, come out! We have a guest.
[Desi remains resolute in his hiding, and Lena shrugs, coming back over to tug on the hem of Ethan's shirt.]
He'll come out when he's ready.
no subject
[His voice is muffled, briefly, by his shirt coming off.]
Why do I always fall in that damn fountain? Is that a common thing?
no subject
I think so. It's like the point of entry into the City, but only one way. When people leave, I guess they just disappear from wherever. Like you did last time.
no subject
[He holds out the shirt to her, apologetic.]
What happened? I just left? Right out of bed?
no subject
[She takes his shirt, looking down at it and trying not to sound too upset.]
That's when I knew you were gone. It's all right. You couldn't help it.
no subject
[He closes the distance between them, kissing her forehead and pulling her close.]
I'd never leave you on purpose.
no subject
I know. And you won't do it on purpose this time either.

You don't get it. You haven't seen what happens here. There's no Book of Moons or super special Cast that can help us. I don't even think Uncle M could--
[She stops, head snapping up to meet his eyes.]
Uncle Macon, how is he?

[She finally pulls back, shirt still clutched in her fist.]
I should dry this.

It must be nice having your own laundromat service in a girlfriend. Think of the poor souls who have to walk around today, all soaking wet.
no subject
[He moves around behind her, pressing a kiss to her temple as he watches her.]
Just another reason why I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
no subject
What a coincidence. I'm the luckiest girl.
no subject
Still warm.
no subject
[Aww, goodbye, Ethan's chest. Not that she's going to say anything, or even think anything, that will have him keeping off his shirt like Mr. Smuggy McSmuggerton.]
How are your pants? Still wet?

[She is restraining herself from telling him to take off his pants.]
no subject
[Which means pants come off, and he holds them out to her, trying very hard not too look either too embarrassed or too smug.]
no subject
Thanks.
[Using the same drying technique she did with his shirt, his pants are soon dry, and she hands them back.]
Here you go. Now you won't catch pneumonia.
