I need first-hand reports on what you're experiencing. This many new arrivals, is this common?

Look, new people, I understand you're disoriented, but don't just go walking into buildings and apartments. Not everyone here reacts well to surprises.

The answer to that one isn't very good unless you've spent some time wrapping your mind around the idea of parallel and pocket universes. I can send you some information I've collected, but otherwise the best I have for you is welcome to the City, and by "the City" I don't mean it has a real name but everyone calls it the City, that's it's name.

There are the so-called curses that happen a couple of times a week. Sometimes they're fairly innocuous,but last week things got pretty hairy. Some friends of mine were hurt in ways I'm going to be seeing in my nightmares for a long time.

I've been working on studying their effects, but I don't think I've worked out which questions to ask yet.

I've seen records of influxes like this on the network and it's possible that only a few of them will remain. It's a good idea to stay inside anyway.

Relatively slim, actually. I've run into a couple of people who have been here for years, but mostly people come and go in under a year.

I don't mean to scare you. A lot of the time the way this place messes with people is more emotional than physical, and it mostly only lasts a day.

Where and when are you from? There might be people you know in the City. That seems to happen - clusters of people are taken. Not always from the same time, but generally the same world, or a near-analog.
