[alas, it is too late and she winces as the avalanche of bags covers him up. now to wait...]

[for the minutes that pass, Gazelle stares worriedly at the scene, contemplating the opinion of getting up to find him and help. however, what happens is just a lot of staring and blinking until he pulls himself together.]

[magically is not shaking with the device, but it does make her a little dizzy to watch so she shuts her eyes momentarily before replying again.]

No, um - I'm just like you. Right now I'm somewhere else and I'm talking through this device too. Get it?

Oh! I think I get it. Wow, if we knew about stuff like this then people wouldn't need to write letters anymore!

Ah--[where'd the talky thingy go...he fumbles for a moment before finding the thing and offering a still-kinda-confused smile.]
