[ The person that falls out of the sky doesn’t look natural, green skin, wings that span once and curl in on themselves. It’s the shock that does it, makes it impossible to land with any kind of grace, and the splash upon impact sends water cascading over the lip of the fountain.

The boy that eventually climbs out isn’t the same, blonde and built and normal. He looks far from threatening, pushing damp hair out of his eyes, earrings glinting in the light. Teddy finds it’s better to hide it away, to tuck himself in. He glances around himself with a frown, water seeping out from his costume as he stumbles out and straightens up. ]

Uh -. Billy? [ Where the hell is he? ] Tommy? Anyone? Is this a test. I really hope it’s a test. I’m down with the whole quest thing, but mostly when there’s a fellowship with bows, and axes, and the occassional sword. [Why yes, he is rambling. Completely and utterly rambling.

He’s skittish, can’t help himself, turns on his heel to get a closer look at the place. He needs to do recon, that’s what an Avenger would do, right? ] God, I suck at this.

I thought you were supposed to be able to fly.

I was surprised, there was definite surprise involved.

[ He hadn't been flying a moment ago. ]

[The green is all to familiar for Bruce. He is surprised at how easily the boy changes from a Hulk look, back to himself. It seems impossible to him.

There is a long minute before his face finally appears on the video.]

[ Teddy's not sure where this device has come from, but that's besides the point, he's now frowning very slightly. ]

[ There's a moment where he ends up tilting his head to the side, trying to get the water out of his ear before he gives a slightly bashful smile. ]

[ He gives a tiny shrug, trying to look about him for a minute. ] Can I ask a crazy sounding question?

The train won't take you anywhere but to the rest of the City, so if exploring's what you had in mind, then that's perfect. But getting out? Not our choice.

Have I been kidnapped? Because that never works well for anybody, so I should probably figure out who's responsible for that and make them see that it's not the best idea.

Look, I don't want to get your hopes up, but you've picked a sort of unique weekend to turn up. Most of these people around here—they'll go home by midnight.

And you might've gotten caught up with all of them, in which case, you haven't got to worry about it. But... I don't know. You might stay, too. There's no telling.

But I have to work it out. And that's not happening in New York.

[ Frown deepening, rubbing the back of his neck for a moment. ]

You seem pretty calm. I'm kind of not sure if I should be panicking or not. I really have to get home.
