Being dead and out of the City impermanently isn't great.

But it's uncomfortable to think about. Not only will you have to confront death, but you'll be forced to wonder about people you've known--what happened to them.

People die and come back in my world all of the time. Though, usually they are the spandex clad, cape wearing sorts.

I just...hope that whatever they believed in was true, and that they don't have to relive their deaths again. And that they get to go to someplace better.

I did. I died at home, entered the City dead, left, and came back. Some people return.

They all probably have superpowers, too.

Only the ones we hear about. Perhaps an average person has died and returned only it never makes the news because that would be boring.
