Well...in a way yes. But not really. It's more like advance technology. I don't really fully understand it myself so we could go with magic. It's simple enough.

Perhaps not really all that simple. I know it's a bit odd. [She's trying to explain it as best as she can.] Trust me when I first found out it took a really long time for it to settle.

It isn't like you wake up and say, "Okay. Today I'll switch with someone." It's consensual and there's clearance paper work involved. But it was really a necessity.

More like stones. They're Ancient communications devices. One user touches one stone and the other uses touches the other on their end and then they switch. It's not permanent though. And there are glitches.

Personally I always loved Halloween as a child. I suppose all that candy really did it for me. Unfortunately I never got to celebrate it all that much.
