So, two things. One, I was thinking about starting a service for running errands and stuff. Well, actually it's me and Roxas.

It's pretty straightforward: we would pick things up or deliver them.

But I'm not sure this'd be very useful for a lot of people. I figure we'll try it out for a month or two, see how it goes.

Uh, we don't have a name. Yet. But anyone who's interested, feel free to talk to me or Roxas.

[ pause ]

The other thing is, a while ago a girl, Hermione, told me she was thinking of starting up a protection group for people in the City who can't fight or aren't as good at it. I still think that's a good idea.

I was wondering if...there's anything like that already. Other than the police, I mean.

I'd be up for to join a protection group. I guess if they have police, though, maybe a protection group isn't needed? It might depend how efficient the police are. I haven't heard of anything, at least.

I guess I kinda thought the police handle things like uh...official things. Robberies? Or uh...crime? But yeah I don't know a lot about it either...

Protection on dangerous curse days though, stuff like that, I bet that people can use all the help they can get, especially if they don't have any magic or anything.

Yeah, really. I wouldn't offer if I wasn't serious about it.

And I use a sword and, if need be, I can fly. [The other powers aren't dependable, so he leaves them out.]

[ the return of the beaming tone! ]

Fly?! That's awesome. Good for escaping.

[ some scribbling noises, he's really making that list after all...in chicken scratch but you know...

then sort of repeating Setsuna's words to himself: ]

That reminds me! Since you're a sword-fighter, would you be up for sparring some time?

[ he's thinking maybe both he and Roxas could use it, in the sense that sparring with the same person means they learn them and get comfortable... ]

[A laugh, and a very cheerful tone in response.]

Yeah, I'd love someone to spar with. I need the practice. Don't want to go rusty or anything.

We can set something up soon.

My friend Roxas might come too. Is that okay? We use the same kind of blade.

[ kind of mumbled to himself... ] ...maybe I should put up flyers for the protection thing...and the delivery business...

Sure! The more the better. It helps to learn how to defend against different styles.

Hmmm.... [Kinda hears.] You need any help with the flyers? I wouldn't mind lending a hand for that, either.

Wha-- oh. [ he laughs a little, that moment where one realizes he's been talking out loud...derp ] I wouldn't say no to help. That's really nice of you.

The City's a lot bigger than I think of it sometimes. I only notice when I'm trying to get from one point to the other.

[Setsuna gives a fond smile to that.]

Cool! And I know what you mean. It's actually a pretty big place. Just let me know when and I'll gladly help out.

I'll contact you through the network once I talk to Roxas about it.

Hopefully by then we'll have more people for the protection group idea too.

I believe there is one, granted I'm not too sure about that group's function being about that.

[She's only just left them so hearing her name on the network is still a little jarring. But, that idea... is very Hermione.]

Really? Do you have any idea who was involved with it?

[ he smiles a bit wider, pleased to find someone else interested, feeling heartened by it in fact ]

Welllll, it's just an idea at the moment. I mean, I guess I was thinking of how you know, on curse days especially, sometimes people end up in a lot of danger. And not all of them can protect themselves, so...maybe that's where we could come in.

Not sure how we'd...know who was in trouble and when but...I'm sure there's gotta be some way...

[Sora having not been very close to her doesn't realize it's the memory of the Hermione prior to the last, but maybe it's okay; Hermione is Hermione, someone who might know her better- someone like Ginny - might say. And that's true of anyone with a sense of self, really. He pauses.... ]

Yeah. It was a while ago...like...a really long time. But I kept getting sidetracked and um. [ SHEEPISH. ] But I really did think it was a good idea.

I wanna be able to help people if I can, and if they need it.

[hornblower]

I've only recently arrived so I'm afraid I've not encountered that many curses yet. But I did hear that they're rather inconvenient, dangerous at times.

[ she pauses thoughtfully. ] The city is rather expansive so we may need more people to assist us if that would be the case. But I would not mind offering help.

[skylight]

Every person...er...or not-person, makes a difference. So far it's...um...just four of us but I'm sure we'll get more. Gotta start somewhere right?

[ He pauses, rubbing his chin. ]

I was thinking we could figure out some kind of alert system. Not sure how though...

Oh right, that reminds me. What's your specialty? My new friend Setsuna says he can fly if he needs to and use a sword.

[Ginny understands if it was ages ago. But Sora is right; Hermione's Hermione, it doesn't matter when she was here.]

It sounds like a great idea. And I'm not just saying that because I'm her friend.

That's true. Everything starts small after all.

[ she's thinking about this too :c until he mentions setsuna -- and asks about her powers. ]

The Mess -- [ headshake. ] Setsuna? He's -- an acquaintance of mine from home. I suppose it's only to be expected that he volunteered. But I can also fly as well as manipulate water.
