Accidental Video//Action for those at the Zoo

[Over at the zoo there seems to be someone in the cage with some very exotic looking birds. Some of them probably aren't even from Earth. In fact, it's unclear how many of them really.

Mixed in with them is a handsome young man wearing all black. He is sitting on a branch...fast asleep.

The birds don't mind though. They're all gathered around him as if to guard his rest. One little blue one is even nestled on top of his head, singing a pretty little tune for him

Lantis certainly has some interesting friends, doesn't he?]

[ First Elena thinks this guy meant to turn his video on. Then she realizes, nope, he's just asleep. She shrugs, moving onto other things - which involves rearranging furniture that isn't hers. Because this is what she's put her mind to.

That pretty little tune gets into her head and soon she's humming along. Possibly not on key - but, hum she does.

The couch screeches against the floor, her feed still on with the guy. She prepares herself to apologize for waking him up. ]

[Lantis blinks at the strange sound that isn't a bird singing him a lullaby. It takes him a moment to figure out that it came from his device.

Which is on.

When did that happen?]

[ Pushing it a little more. Another scuff. She usually doesn't do this alone. Looking back at the device, she sees that he's up. ]

Sorry, I should've turned off the link. [ between them. ] The bird's song was... nice. [ though, man if that's a bird she's ever seen ]

[Oh. The one still on his head. Which he doesn't seem bothered by at all. It doesn't either since it's still singing for him.]

She likes to sing for the people she's fond of.

[ ...Yeah. That one. Is that comfortable? ]

She seems really fond of you.

Animals like me for some reason.

[Probably because he's very calm and quiet.]

[ You seem pretty calm. That might be it. ]

Are you an animal person?

I enjoy their company.

...No. This is the cage for the birds at the zoo.

I do.

[ Well, this at least makes more sense. ]

Are you on break?

After I fed the birds, I had a little time to myself. They wanted to spend it with me.

They told you this? [ You talk to birds? ]

I'm not sure really.

I don't... know if anybody would be. But, some people are good with birds.

They're easier to talk to, I guess.

They listen to you?

They do. So I listen to them sing in return.
