[Rose has the day off so she's spent it being lazy: caught up on her sleep, read her book, watched TV, took a bath. That sort of thing. She's finally decided to venture out for some chips and maybe a milkshake. She's got her mp3 player and her ear buds in so it takes her a little while to see what's going on. When she sees it the first time, her throat goes dry and for an instant she thinks maybe it's a coincidence. Or maybe the Doctor is having a laugh. She steps outside with some trepidation, looking for another one. It's there scrawled on the sidewalk in front of her. Her heart beats faster and her breath is coming in strangled pants as she breaks into a jog, looking for the next one. She doesn't have to go far. It's been spray painted on a brick wall. She stops, turning in a circle, realising that it's everywhere. Overnight, the City has been covered in Bad Wolf graffiti. She jerks the ear buds out of her ears and fumbles for her device, flipping it on.]

Something's happenin'. Don't know what yet but you all ought to be careful. Be aware. Stay inside.

[She quickly puts in some filters and makes some requests locked to individual people]

[To Cinna]

Stay inside, okay? Don't open the store and...be careful. Just stay inside.

[To Percy]

You've got defensive magic, yeah?

Any chance I could get my hands on a coupla weapons? Promise to use 'em for good.

[To Jack, The Doctors, and Donna]

[At this point, she's just scarcely keeping the panic out of her voice.]

Doctor! Jack, Donna, we need--have you looked outside?

[That tone of voice can't be good, plus the whole be aware thing. Jack rushes to the window of Gwen's apartment where he's staying and looks outside. That sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach? Yeah, that's the reaction he's got.]

Rose. You know how much I love to hear from you but this is not good. [He knows what comes with Bad Wolf. Always a warning for something very, very bad.] Definitely not good. What's going on? Does anybody know what's going on?

Uhhhh well, we don't usually just hand out weapons to the public like they're candy, but we do have an awesome sized storage of all kinds in the -- not saying where. Also, you know that whole be aware and stay inside thing is all ominous and scary, right? What's the what? Is it apocalypse time... again?

Oh, for the love of-- have I looked outside. [ Scoff scoffity scoff. ] Do you see this stack of paperwork in from of me? I will look outside when I climb out of all of this.

[ Rose gets a shot of the paperwork, and she can probably hear Donna gasp whens he looks down at what she's getting video of. All of the letters she'd scrawled down spell out bad wolf -- everything. ]

...Rose? Is this-- is this possible?

Something is happening? I'm certain there are a lot of things happening all over the City, Rose. Right now I'm sitting with the ducks and feeding them bread from our apartment. Speaking of which, we need more bread.

Which something are you referring to?

No. I mean, I don't. Haven't heard from the Doctor yet. Any of 'em. Where are you?

[He's grabbing his coat and shrugging it on as he hurries to the door.]

Gwen's apartment. Where are you? I'm coming to find you right now...

I don't--know? Remember when I told you 'bout bein' a hero? This came first, then the end of the Universe. Have you seen the graffiti?

[Rose is trying so hard to be calm and not panic.]

Don't know. The Doctor with the jacket there with you?

Someone did a lot of graffitin' to the City. Tryin' to find out who right now.

[She doesn't want to worry Jenny just yet and nothing is happening right now. Someone's just splashed Bad Wolf all over the City. It could be a harmless joke by the City.]

[There's a bit of a shuffling sound and Dawn is moving around to the outside. And then...]

Ohmigod. If my friend Xander were here he'd be so pissed that someone marked up the warehouse he worked so hard on. And what's a Bad Wolf? Is that some kind of slang for something else that I should be hip to? Like from beneath you they will come, or Twilight is here or... okay I'm out of or's.

So we need some heroes for some unknown something, huh? I'll talk to my sister. Will crossbows and swords work? Cause we have a lot of those here at home. Actual guns... well I have all the keys to City Solutions so... but I mean... we talked about how guns are bad.

I don't believe I've ever heard that word before. Graffiting? What is it?

Prince is here, yeah. What's going on? [ She is failing at trying to sound brave. ]

Uhm...[She has to stop and look around because she's sort of gotten lost, running from spot to spot to find all the graffiti.]

Okay, I'm out in front of the apartments.

[He pauses, looks around because there is Bad Wolf graffiti everywhere, taunting him of some unknown impending doom. And if it was as bad as the last time...]

Rose, it's everywhere. I'm all for the right kind of advertisement but I don't like what this is probably advertising and I bet you, Donna and the Doctors won't either. We need to groups up, get our bearings, prepare. How do you prepare in a place like this? Weapons. We definitely need weapons.

It's...sorta...me. I absorbed the time vortex once and I did this...graffiti thing all 'round time and space. I lost the Doctor with the jacket and it was s'posed to lead me back to him. I could see all of time and space, so I went 'head and sorta made road signs for when I lost the Doctor with the hair, so he'd know I was comin' back and so he'd know the end of the universe was comin'. It's a warnin'. Just don't know what for in this case. I can't...remember. It's all sorta fuzzy 'cause the time vortex was burnin' my brain up.

So you did this... [There are no words for how hard she has to squash down the 'I'm telling' that she wants to sing-song right now. Thankfully, she knows this is serious business. She's seen enough serious business to know when it's staring her in the face.]

So has anyone ever told you that you're much with the ominous and creepy in a cute little outer shell? You and my sister could totally be BFF's.

I wish you had a better idea of what was coming though. It'd be so much easier if we knew which kind of oogly-boogly was gonna make an appearance. You know, weapons-wise.

You notice all the things that say Bad Wolf 'round? That's graffiti. Someone writin' things on stuff.

Don't know. Don't remember doin' this. [Of course she doesn't really remember doing the other either. It's just sort of a fuzzy, vague thing.]

Stay with him, yeah? I'll let you know when I find out more. M'workin' on gettin' us weapons. Don't tell him that.

Oh, yes I do suppose that is happening. Should I go be inside, like you said?

[Rose runs to where Jack is standing, pulling up short before she gets to him.]

'm workin' on the weapons part. Don't know. [She turns in a circle, taking in all the graffiti] Could be a curse and...just a cruse.

[She doesn't really believe that and her voice betrays that.]

I don't really believe anyone would go to all the trouble of doing this just to make us worry. So much better ways to spend ones time and all.

[He looks over to Rose, worry over the Bad Wolf and concern for her both etched on his features.]

So you don't remember doing this yourself? [It's a valid question, okay?]

Weapons? Rose, is that really a good idea? [ He's already prone to badness, does he need help from Rose going back that way? ] We don't even know what's coming.

What's going on?

Didn't mean to. Swear. [Actually, she probably did. Even when she was burning up, she'd made sure she acted with purpose.]

Never in those sorta words...no. 'm not sure if I should be flattered or not.

Yeah...last time, it was bad. Stunnin' weapons. Nothin' that shoots bullets. Maybe somethin' that shoots electricity?

Yeah, prolly not a bad idea. Watch a movie or somethin'.
