Technically, we all smell like something - especially perfume models. In fact, perfume models probably smell more than all the rest of us do. So what was your poison? Flowery? Musky? Fruity?
Perfume is like those lotions in that shop we were talking about before, yes? I think those smell lovely! Although, I'm unsure of how you model a scent. No one can see it, after all.
You just look pretty on posters so that people'll buy the perfume, pretty much. [ Lowering her voice a bit, like it's a secret: ] You don't even have to wear the scent.
Ah, yeah no one wants to smell bad. Plays hell on getting close to people when you do. Except in the heat of the moment when you've got just the right amount of adrenaline and lust going. Then nobody really cares. And honestly, that's the best kind of passion, when nothing else matters, including smells, good or bad.
[There's just a slight gasp in the audio the moment Jenny realizes what that whisper entails. Lying! But selling things with lies! Jenny isn't very good with lies so she goes with what she knows is true.]
You are very pretty, Amy. I could very much see how people would purchase things from you whether you use them or not! Maybe you could teach me to fix my hair like yours sometime where it's all curls and waves.
I'm had so many experiences, Amy Pond that I have an experience to speak from for pretty much any scenario. And I bet you know just the kind of experience I'm talking about too. No way a girl as charming as yourself hasn't felt that kind of passion where nothing else matters but what you want and need.
I'd really like that. Rose is buying me some new clothes with color in them because apparently mine are very drab. I like that word, drab. And you can show me how to make my hair pretty like yours and then perhaps I'll fit in with people better than I normally do. I think it would be nice, fitting in.
Traveling with The Doctor, you've had to have had a few of those in the throws of battle or world saving or whatever you've experienced with him and then suddenly you just want to feel... something good. And there's someone right there and you just go for it, forget the fact that you haven't had a shower that day or sprayed any of your perfume on or whatever, you just want it and you go for what you want.
Because when you fit in people don't look at you oddly or wonder why you say the things you say or do the things you do. I find people very interesting, Amy! Watching them and listening to them and learning from them. My being different has only seemed to make people unsure of what to say to me or of how to act around me. It isn't always so exciting being different although I do like different in a general sense.
Yeah, but why would you care about that. It's just people. Maybe if you're really, really different, okay, but you're not, so. Why would you try to be like other people.
Well there is such a thing as that certain person just smelling the way they smell and it being a good thing. So who's this Rory? Boyfriend? Husband? None of the above?
