[ When the feed kicks in, Bucky looks more than a little bemused but pleased. Figuring out that it's curse day had been pretty easy, and at least her prefers this to the last few. In The Mood woke him up pretty early, but it's the kind of song that can't be unpleasant, and his grin kicks in. ]

Now this is music boys and gals. It actually sounds good. And you sure can dance to it.

[ Pause as it starts up again. ] And hey, it could be worse. Least it ain't This Is The Army, Mr. Jones. You guys don't know how much that follows a person around. It's blasting out'a every dance hall and you can't hustle up a group to it no matter how hard y'try. [ A long beat. ] Awh hell, now it's stuck in my head. It's been out for a year and it bugs the crap out of me. That an' Kiss Me Goodnight, Sergeant Major. This guy I know, Falsworth, he just keeps loopin' it around every mornin' when a guy's trying to get some shut eye. Good soldier, punk taste in music.

[ There is genuine fondness in Bucky's tone, because as much as he cherishes his time here, it's nice to think of home. He doesn't care if it's making him come off as some backward jerk either, he's enjoying it. ] And if this stuff starts blarin' the Andrew Sisters, I'll let you know.

Seems to be. [ Music is still playing in the background, switches up to a more jovial swing tune. ] So long as I don't have to start singin' like I'm in a musical, I don't care.

[ Bucky just slides over the arm of the chair, ends up sprawled over Steve without informing him, smirking as he does. ] I ain't your personal radio, y'know?

[ This starts up, Bucky fishing one of Steve's pens out of his pocket. Why he has it, nobody knows, but he is going to fetch the paper from the floor and prop the crossword open on his knees. ]

This place needs a dance hall.

[ It's what he misses of their time. ] Hey, do you ever get to dance? [ Obviously there's a period of time in Steve's life Bucky doesn't know about. He's not sure if he would, but it pays to ask. ]

[Steve looks up at Bucky with a certain degree of hesitancy - because he's never asked about the sliver of time that they were apart, or the sliver of time that Steve was alive and Bucky wasn't.]

Oh. [ His pen stills on the page for a moment, before he's writing in one of the answers. ] An' when she appeared, you guys didn't?

Yeah. I took her to this empty club, and there was a musician there, he played When I Fall In Love and she and I danced.
