Well, if the City is counting down to something, then it might be useful to know, right? And maybe if we better understand the City, or the deities, we can understand how to find a way out.

Or find a way to stop this countdown, if it's not just a mere theory.

I would rather be prepared for this sort of thing than caught unaware. And I want to go home.
