[Waitressing is proving to be incredibly difficult today. In fact, it's proving to be almost impossible, since all Rapunzel can do is take orders...she can't exactly pick up things with a bubble in the way...

Luckily, she's got a very good backup plan. Sort of.]

Pascal, I've got an order for two slices of cheesecake and two cups of jasmine tea! Can you manage that?

[Somehow, Pascal isn't in the bubble with Rapunzel, so he's taken over her actual waitressing duties today. He's struggling, what with him being so small, but he's doing pretty good so far...]

I know, I know, I'm sorry, Pascal...I don't like this either, but what else are we supposed to do?

[Pascal squeaks irritably, and Rapunzel sighs, giving him a small smile.]

We'll do something special just for you tomorrow, okay?

[That seems to convince him, as he grabs the small tray he's working with, scuttering out to serve customers. Rapunzel sighs, going out to take more orders, bubble knocking people back as she goes.]

Sorry, sorry!!! I can't help it, there's a bubble...!

[Guess who decided to show up for work, anyway? She can't abandon anyone, it seems. She has a large piece of paper and a black marker and is staring at the paper with a frown.]

Do you think it would be terribly rude if the sign said "Please be ready to pick your orders up at the counter as most of the staff is cursed. Thank you, Jasmine Dragon Staff."

[Rapunzel knows the feeling, which is why she's here.]

That might not be a bad idea. Maybe put a 'We apologize for the inconvenience' on there somewhere, though?

[Pascal comes back in, looking tired.]

Don't worry, Pascal, we're getting another plan B together so you can take a break.

Okay. I'll add that. [She starts writing carefully, leaving off the words 'most of' so that it just says the staff is cursed.] That way, we won't get a rude customer demanding the uncursed person serve them. Because I get the feeling they'll be overworked, anyway.]

Pascal, I owe you food. What should I get you?

[He hasn't seen the long-haired princess in a while, not since their talk about her mother after the desert, and hearing Charlie was cursed as well, Ken decides, why not? At least have company, even if he couldn't touch them.

[He enters to watch Pascal trying his best and blinks. So hard-working for such a small creature!]

[Harry's out because he lives alone and daily walking amongst people keeps the ticking at bay well enough. And he's bored.]

Pascal is filling in for me today.

Good idea. Besides, I don't know if you can tell if you're cursed or not till you bump into somebody two feet away from you.

[Pascal frowns, before turning purple, then orange, then yellow.]

...he wants a fruit salad. Or a parfait, I can't tell. Pascal, you have to be more specific.

[Pascal rolls his eyes, before turning a reddish pink.]

Exactly. [Charlie gives Pascal a nod and starts on his parfait. She'll hang the sign up when it's done.]

[Looks down at the scurrying Pascal.] He seems to be a doing a good job of it. Anything I could do?

[Merlin's exploring the city, having given up on trying to break this weird curse (only been here a day and already getting a taste of it, fun). At least he's not knocking over things with flailing arms and legs, but he's still getting the hang of not doing so with the bubble.

Which he's unlikely to ever manage.

So he's knocking over a chair as he enters the tea shop, having seen Rapunzel's familiar face from outside.]

Oh! [And then he bumps into someone, of course.] Sorry! It's just--! Well.

[ There's a smile in her tone. ] Inventive. I like it!

[Rapunzel laughs as Pascal grins and heads over to get his parfait.]

You're the best, Pascal. We owe you, big time.

[He looks so smug right now.]

You do? Haha, I think practically everybody has one today.

[Pascal gives him a tired smile before scurrying off to another table.]

Unfortunately, the bubbles make doing anything sort of impossible.....

That's really nice of you, thanks! I just need help getting things out to the customers...the bubble makes it sort of hard to pick up things.
