[The video flickers on to show one Rose Tyler leaning against a kitchen counter clutching a mug of tea. Her hair's in a messy bun and she's still in her dressing gown. She's unaware that her device has turned on and is recording her. She seems lost in thought.]

I still don't understand it, you know.

Aww well... the chances of finding any here were slim anyways. [Cain says more to himself than to Rose] Tanna is a tea that my regiment drinks, and, I've grown rather partial to it. Having some would be an Emperor-send in an alien place like this.

I hail from the Imperium of Mankind. [Cain sits up straight and ajusts his hat to a proffessional angle] It's an Empire of all the worlds of humankind that, to most people, exists in the far future.

That's a bit of a mouthful right there. [Rose continues to ponder this while sipping her tea and staring at the screen.]

Future? I've seen all sorts of places in the future but never that. Wonder if my friends would know about it.

What exactly do you mean by "all sorts of places in the future" young miss? [If she's just talking about travel, then that's a strange way to put it. If she's talking about what I think she is, then that's something else entirely... Time travel. This city never ceases to suprise me. I don't know if that's a good thing.]
