[One Doctor James Wilson has arrived in the safe zone, checked in to help with the injured, gotten his bearings, and is finally taking a moment to try to find a space outside of the overwhelming crowds to sit for just a moment.]

Well, it is preferable to the open desert, but there's a lot to be said for having room to breathe, or a moment's quiet to think. Still, it has walls - something I doubt I'll ever take for granted again.

[As he shifts, he pauses a moment.]

Crowded is an understatement, though; it's a bit of a challenge to find individuals in the masses, and it would be nice to know who's here - who's safe, who's still out there. And the other city... all I can really do is hope everyone there is holding up all right.

Well... the walls do keep out most of the creatures, but not all of them. There is shelter, though, and there's always safety in numbers.

Are you going to fill out the paper work to get into the glass city? You probably should get started on it and get out of there soon.

I can't leave as long as I'm needed here, and that's going to be the case for a while yet.

Make sure that you do, too - once you get here, people do help to look after one another. One of the good things about the City.

Yes.... If nothing else, there is that. Even when things aren't this dangerous, they still do.

They always do - the vast majority, at least. I've always thought it to be the City's strongest positive point.

Yes. It makes me miss the comradeship I had with a group back home. Though I tried to do everything on my own. I didn't understand at the time.... This way, helping each other like this, it is better this way.
