This zombie thing? Not cool. Not cool in the least. It's been awhile since I've protected a city from weird, otherworldly creatures, but it's kinda like riding a bike. You wobble a little at first, maybe you're a little rusty, but it's smooth sailing after awhile. You'd think they'd be easier to get rid of though, what with all the...lack of body. Anyway, does anyone need a hand? Anyone stranded? Everyone staying indoors?

Rapunzel, you're inside, right?

Wherever you are, City folk, I'll be around.

[Action: Flash is currently running around town, trying to find anyone who might be trapped outside. He's avoiding the larger packs of Boneys and picking off any who might be alone by vibrating through them and exploding them. You may hear the sonic boom of him running past or the kabooms he leaves in his wake. Or you may just see a red blur. Or he may be knocking on your door asking for food.]

I thought this was supposed to be over at midnight?

[Julie is hiding in her room at the beach house. Her left wrist is wrapped in a cast. It hurts like hell but she's still trying to hold the pistol John gave her. And she looks exhausted.]

[Oh thank god, he's okay, she can relax a little now.]

I'm okay. I'm inside, doors barricaded...I'm armed. Promise.

[A frying pan counts.]

Just....please be careful....?

Julie! Are you okay?

[He's looking exhausted too, even as he chews on a power bar and chugs an energy drink.]

Where are you? You need a hand? If this isn't over now, no telling when it will be.

I hate these fucking things, Wally.

[She has a history with them. It's not pretty. Her dislike is evident in her tone and expression.]

I'm at home with R. We aren't going anywhere soon.

I'm fine, sweetheart. How well-barricaded are you?

I'm stopping by.

[He nods. He's not gonna grill her about it - not now.]

Is that pistol enough?

[He doesn't like guns, but...desperate times.]

It will be for a bit.

[She's almost out of bullets.] Considering going for another drive to run a few of them over.

[Yep. With her busted arm.]

How about you don't do that with a broken arm? I think that would be a much better idea.

[But that does sound fun...]

[She's just so relieved he's okay...]

I have the couch backed up against the door, and the windows are locked. Uh....just knock when you get here? I don't think the monsters will knock...

So you guys are gonna stay holed up while I'm taking your car for a joy ride? I mean, yeah, that sounds safe, but...

[It sounds boring for them.]

[She'll probably hear him down the hall, first. It'll sound like a fierce wind rolling outside her door, along with a few "HAH!s" and "NICE TRY!s". There aren't many Boneys here, but he's dealing with some of the ones who are. SOME of them. After a few moments, there's a knock on the door - shave-and-a-haircut-two-bits.]

Yoooou might wanna let me in. Quick like.

Oh god, oh god...

[She moves as fast as she can, pushing the couch out of the way and cracking the door open.]

You get in here quick, I gotta bar the door again...!

[Sometimes, once in a blue (or a red) moon, the fastest a person can move just isn't fast enough. Even the fastest man in the world. They were on his tail already, but the few moments between his knocking and her opening the door is enough for them. They're nimble for dead guys.

He slips in through the door and the Boneys follow suit.]

Uh-oh... Get back, Rapunzel!

[He grabs her and pushes her behind him as the skeletons pour in.]

[For a brief moment, she's filled with panic. There's ZOMBIES in her apartment. Why wouldn't she be frozen in fear?

But then she remembers. She knows how to fight. And yeah, using a frying pan tied to her hair may not work...but she has to try. So, she quickly runs to the kitchen and gets her weapons.]

Get back!

[An she whips out her frying pan, nailing one of the bonies in the head, knocking it back.]
