Maybe it would be more accurate to say willed. He did a very complicated trade to get her into the City and wanted to ensure that she would be cared for in the event of his disappearance.

Pavel, yes and he's taken really good care of the car. We're not even allowed to have sex in the backseat, which is just sad.

Oh good 'cause the only thing I've got left is sweet potato, which most people aren't crazy about and then we move onto cakes. Give me a couple of hours and I'll have one for you. Baking and cooking are things I do when I can't sleep or I'm sad.

[ She hesitates and then nods. ]
