[There is a monster at Kazuo's feet with a bolt from crossbow through its eye. He watches it for a time before looking into the screen of his device.]

Survival out in the desert is not difficult. I do not understand the panic.

[Without looking away from the screen, he lifts his crossbow and fires another bolt that causes another monster to fall down next to him. He doesn't even flinch from it.]

...How weak.

I don't find it difficult myself, but not everyone has the necessary skills or training.

Having read a book would not be much help for those whose weapons may have turned to sand, or for those who are simply not capable of combat, such as the infirm or children.

Regardless, I meant younger children. Some people cannot fight or have no experience with monsters.
