[Naoi looks indignant today, which is fairly uncommon for the much-too-prideful boy, but today, he also looks incredibly alarmed... which is far more unusual. His face is flushed and his usually prim and proper uniform is in disarray (the jacket is unbuttoned, hanging off his small shoulders like the world's least threatening hooligan, and his red ribbon is hanging useless around his neck).]

[He points an accusatory finger at the camera, trying to will his terrified eyes to convey anger instead.] I cannot fall ill! It's impossible!

((Couldn't find a permission post, so I hope this is okay. ^^; Feel free to have it fail to affect Luke if you want! Naoi's hypnosis a near-flawless mind control if successful, but temporary. There's a few seconds of delay before it works, so simply breaking eye contact before his eyes finish changing colour is enough to make it fail too. o/))

[Naoi's eyes shift from hazel to a glowing eerie red.]

I died and wound up in the afterlife. Well, one afterlife... or part of a bigger one, I don't know. It was like a school, meant as a relief to the spirits of children who lived difficult, unfulfilled lives... after that, we're supposed to move on.

I didn't want to move on, so I delayed it for about a couple of years. [The less said about that, the better.] I think I spent three, maybe four semesters in that place?

We don't arrive immediately after dying. I think my spirit must've been lost for a while...
