[A clang and someone yelling A, are you sure?-]
Quiet!
[Her voice echoes for a second, and then there's silence, except for tick, tock. She looks a little frazzled - her haircover is slipping over her forehead, and there is a smudge of dirt over her face.]
My apologies. Your attention. Please do not worry about the Clock. The situation is under control. We're handling the pressure now. We know it's irritating.
We know exactly how irritating.
If you would please stand by, we'll get things operational again just as soon as we can.
