There was an egg and it hatched.

Yes. It is surprising you did not since the eggs seemed to be everywhere, but perhaps good as well. Who knows how two of them would have reacted to living in the same space.

Why should One mind? It is not like one person can care for all the animals that seem to be living here. And this one is a baby still.

Yeah, it is. Do you know what the baby ones like to eat? I could watch the ones at the zoo and see what the mothers feed them.

But still, we gotta feed it something. Unless it doesn't eat often.

Very few things only come in one type, people or animals.

Perhaps someone at the zoo would know how the ones there usually eat.

Or girl. Although One is not sure how you'd tell, most animals do require more growth first before it becomes obvious.

It was nibbling at One's nails, but has not bitten so perhaps it is safe enough. And it seems July found one as well that really likes his hair.

Hmm, I could deal with it if you want nails and hair. We got plenty of that around here.
