[ The sand is pretty much impossible by now. It's everywhere, trickles out when you least expect it, gets into everything. He'd been fine with it, until his bagel had sand in the cream, and that shit just don't fly with James Barnes. But he's not the only one getting kind of crabby about it. Crepe the Wonderdog doesn't seem too happy with everything she touches suddenly becoming slippy, cascading sand. And while it had been funny the first couple of times to see her startled face whenever something exciting had suddenly evaporated, now it's getting in her fur, and Bucky's planning on doing something about it.
He is Master of Accidental Video, mostly because he still doesn't get all the buttons, so the video hits with the view of his shoe from where he's kicked it. It's on the bathroom floor, the side of the tub and one of Bucky's arms, shirtsleeves rolled up, in view. Crepe's nose snuffles along the screen before he lifts her. ] C'mon, darling, let's get you all shiny and clean so you can be the prettiest dame around once more. [ Depositing her in the bath is easy, it's when he lifts the water to cover her back that all hell breaks loose. Either she thinks Bucky is possessed, or the water is her new enemy, but Crepe's got her paws over the bath and is shaking before he can stop her. Water sluices over the side of the tub, hits the device screen in fat droplets, and then there's a thump as she jumps free, heads for the door that he'd foolishly left open. ]
Nono. [ Shoes squeaking as Bucky pulls himself up, twists to chase after her, and even if he's trying to come off as mad, there's a laugh in his voice. ] Get back here you little rascal. [ Crepe's skippy little feet and her excited bark are the next noises, followed by something that sounds like it's been knocked over. ] Oops. You're not an alley cat, why're you making this so difficult, huh? [ Crepe's predictably leading him in circles, because she is secretly a mastermind, or in all reality, Bucky isn't that smart, and it's only when the noises get louder and her nose presses back against the device that he follows. ] Awh, again?
