036 ⇨ video
[When the video starts, Mae is seen not in her apartment as usual, but in the City Library, somewhere behind the reception desk.]
Well, hello, City. I trust and hope that everyone's feeling better today? I'm starting to have a lot of trust in the hospital here, what with all the recent curses sending people straight to it - I'm really sorry, for all of you who suffered through that curse, be it as a victim or as a victim's caretaker. It was...well, like most curses lately, not very pleasant.
To put it lightly.
But being in the City for so long now - I think my anniversary passed me right by - has taught me that you're angry while the curses take place, and you find ways to move on lest it make you go insane for being here.
So, that being said, I went and did something I've been meaning to for a while. I wouldn't call it being a librarian, because I think you have to go to college for a degree in that, so let's say I'm the new book consultant of the City Library. It's simple, really - I've been here so often, and it rarely disappoints with its choice of books for me, whether it's to make me laugh or to learn something new like a beginner's guide to mechanics. I've noticed many citizens avoid the library like the plague - it's not so bad! If you come over and end up with a book you're not sure you need, I'll be here to convince you.
Every morning to noon during the week, and the whole day on Saturday. So drop by, say hello. [A pause.] Oh, and of course, if there's any other non-native citizen working here, definitely say hello!
[ooc; Part-time job # 2, and your new City librarian. Expect to go home with books you're not sure you wanted or needed but took out because of the sweet smile of her face.Traaaaaaap]
