Back home, I'm stuck. I don't think I'm gonna be anything more than I already am. People know me, know what they think of me. Here... well. Nobody knows who I am. And everyone's been awfully nice.

It's a common point of origin, here, at least roughly-- though there's a considerable variety in the worlds represented, so that's not necessarily saying much.

What's Rapture like?

Rapture is... well, it's beautiful, but it's dangerous. It's a city underwater, y'know. We can't leave. But it can be lovely, at times. Sometimes it's just scary. I imagine New Jersey is probably much more fun. What do you do back home, honey?

I don't think your Rapture exists, where I'm from. I've never heard of an underwater city.

Probably not. Even if it did, it woulda sunk back into the ocean a long time ago.

What kinda medicine do you do? I always thought it would be interesting to be a doctor, or something that helps people.

My specialty is Immunology, though I'm in the Diagnostics department. Here, I do a certain amount of general clinic duty-- and, depending on the day, whatever emergency work needs to be done.

I've always found it rewarding.
