[ Contrary to what some people might think, Mako actually does not sleep with his scarf. He makes sure to hang it up before climbing into bed. However ... a certain nanny-bot has gotten their hands on it, this is what Mako's woken up to as the sun begins to pop up over the horizon. He's gone and hit his communication device which had been resting on the nightstand in his scramble to get out of bed and ready himself for whatever-in-the-Spirit-World that thing is. It's camera is faced up to the ceiling. ]

Woah woah--! How did you get in here? What are you doing in my room?

--Dare I ask when the last time your scarf was bathed?

Did Bolin let you in? Korra? I bet it was Bolin.

Of course not. I merely opened the door myself. It wasn't hard you know.

Put the scarf down. If you know the way in then I'm sure you know the way out.

I will put your scarf down once I've had it washed and hung to dry. Now then--

I said - Put. The. Scarf. Down.

[ He's calm right now despite the hard tone in his voice. Maybe being firm will work? Now there's an unmistakable sound of fire igniting, the warm glow casting shadow over the ceiling and flickering. If he has to use firebending to get this thing to comply ... then so be it. ]

There's absolutely no need for violence--

[ Feed disconnects, but not before the nanny-bot had given a sharp sound of surprise and the sound of metal connecting with the floor was heard. ]

[ Hurrying across the landing when the sound of clattering metal is heard from the boys' room, she knocks on the door while wrapped up in a fluffy bath-robe. ]

Mako? Are you guys okay?

[Korra hates mornings, but she's a light sleeper. The sound of metal clanging to the ground has her jumping up in bed. What was that?!?

She rolls off of her futon (having given Asami the bed -- it's not like she wasn't used to sleeping on the ground) and heads into the hallway. Of course Asami is already out there, looking worried and fluffy.]

What's going on?

[riches]

[ Quietening her voice, she shrugs. ]

It sounds like they're rough-housing in there. Think we should take a look?

[anatural]

Bolin would've mentioned if Toph had taught him metalbending.

[She suddenly thinks about the man with the stupid mask. What if he broke in and attacked the guys?

It's a pretty big leap to make -- after all, she hasn't run into that jerk again in awhile. It's more of a stray thought than anything else. Korra's not the type to spend a lot of time thinking, though.

So she kicks down the door.]

[firesneeze]

[ And there's Mako standing over the nanny-bot with fire burning above his closed fist, shirtless and in his shorts. He snaps his head over in that direction. ]

...Was that really necessary?

[anatural]

I thought you might be in trouble!

[She looks around.]

What happened?

[firesneeze]

[ He goes to pry the scarf from the nanny-bot's grasp, being careful not to tear anything. ]

Nothing. It's been taken care of.

[riches]

[ ... lol hi Mako's chest. ]

What is that thing? [ Pacing over to the cooked nannybot to get a closer look. ] Did it break in?

[anatural]

[Just to be sure, Korra walks over to the pile of metal and kicks it.]

[firesneeze]

It must've if it just decided to show itself in while we were all asleep.

Maybe you'll know what it is? [ Looks between Asami and the nanny-bot. Future Industries deals with metal contraptions and all that jazz, maybe Asami will want to poke around at it's insides. ]
