I’ve gotten cakes on my birthday before, but-- what’s the candle for? Doesn’t the melted wax just ruin the cake around it?

Oh! Well that'd definitely solve the wax problem.

Yeah! But it still seems weird, to shove a candle into it.

Maybe it's got some special meaning! Like a wish for continued good health or something.

Maybe I should have bought a giant cake, for Kogarasumaru.

Does Kogarasumaru have a birthday? You could get an anniversary cake! Or everyone could get it together, since it's a team.

We could celebrate the anniversary of Kogarasumaru, yeah!

It'd have to be a biiig cake, so Ikki won't eat it all.

We could order a cake one size bigger than the biggest size available. Or try to make one ourselves!

Not that I know how to.

If we get the box mix, I could probably make it myself.

We just need cake pans, and lots of cake mix, eggs, and-- whatever else it says it needs on the back!

That does sound easier than I thought. Imagine making a cake with...three boxes worth of cake mix!

We would need a huge pan!

I'm sure there's one somewhere around here! A pan big enough for the biggest cake in the city.
