[It's been a slow day for Hanna. With practically everybody stuck inside bubbles, physical interaction is down, so that means no cases, no people coming by the flower shop, no misadventures...it's boring. Really boring.

Hanna gets weird when he's bored.

Which is why he's experimenting and seeing exactly how much damage his bubble can hold...by running into walls. Repeatedly. And bouncing off of them.]

Whoo hooo!! This is awesome!!

[He laughs, bouncing off another wall.]

God, this curse is awful, but hey. Bouncing power!

[He laughs and runs into a wall again.]

I wonder if I'd bounce if I jumped off a building...

How come there are so many curses here anyway? That doesn't seem normal at all.

It's just how this place runs. The curses happen, and it sucks, though sometimes they're not so bad.

I take it that means you're new around here, then?

[ a shrug ] I've been here a few weeks. It's definitely weird and not like anywhere else I've ever been.

But I guess it's not that bad. Though I don't understand why there have to be curses all the time. How come they don't happen to everyone?

I have no idea why not everybody is cursed...hell, I don't understand why we have curses at all. It's a weird place, this City...

Basically. And we really have no idea why they do these things, either...trust me, I've tried to find out. I've got theories, but no proof, so for now, I'm gonna stick with the 'for shits and giggles' theory.

Well, there was something that happened a while back that made me think there's something...worse in the City than the deities, and the deities are just using their power to control it by means of curses.
