I'm missing books. Not all of them, but enough of them that I can tell, though I'm not sure what all of them were. Not in the shop-- or maybe there too, but it's harder to tell-- but from our shelves at home.

I don't think it can be a curse, really, after the weekend, but I think maybe those things took them.

Is that crazy? I don't know anymore when something is, I think.

I really hope I get them back, though.

I don't know. I saw one in the hallway, and I thought I saw something slithering into the bathroom but I didn't see anything in there. Maybe it went down the drain?

Do you think they'll bring them back? They took Paradise Lost, it was a nice copy. And some of the poetry. I'm not sure what else.

What do you make of this, Neil? The group threatening the deities, the meteors, the worms...? Could they be connected?

I don't know, but I don't like any of it. There's always-- at least, there's often some kind of chaos late in Spring, isn't there? But aside from the curses going funny...

The meteors seem like they could be punishment, for people going along with these rebels. Or maybe they're just meant to keep us all inside, like the curfew?

I can't understand the worms, though.

I can't think of a time of year when there isn't chaos, but this is a bit much, even for the City.

Whatever's going on, we can hope that you'll get your books back.
